What’s the only thing that you really sub-consciously look forward to on vacation?
Think about it. What is the only thing that keeps you going during the day’s activities?
Body soap.
That’s right. Body soap.
And it’s not just your run-of-the-mill Irish Spring Aloe or even your Pea-Blossom Bath & Body Works brand. It’s nothing you can find at any local Walmart either. It’s some amazing type of unknown soap – wait… no its not even soap–its a remedy of ingredients hand-picked to make you feel like a princess. It’s called a cleanser.
I’m not talking about Day’s Inn bar soap either. By some awesomely divine chance, the “cleanser” is the exact species of soap that you need at that moment. Here are a few examples…

You go to the beach with a few of your friends and have a good time. You play frisbee on the shore, build a sandcastle or two, destroy someone else’s way-better sandcastle, and end up sleeping for hours pool-side under the sun and get massive sun-burn because you forgot your sunscreen at home. After a long day of beach-fun you get up to Room 432, swipe your card and get ready to take a shower. There’s 3 little bottles of body soap waiting to be lathered on your sandy sun-burnt body. The bottle you pick up happens to be called “Beachside Sun Elixir”

On the same trip, one of your friends decides to go parasailing instead of sunbathing. He has a pretty awesome time and loves the view of the beach from high up in the air. The winds are strong and he goes for a pretty intense joy-ride. He’s a trooper and doesn’t complain much about the turbulence, but he is pretty soar from all the extreme winds. After lazing around in the pool he decides to go up to his room and take a nice long hot shower. He sees that one of the bottles has been used-and-abused and picks up the next bottle without thinking twice. After cleansing his body, he realizes he feels an amazing tingly feeling all over his skin and it seems to be magically easing all his soar muscles. He looked down at the bottle and reads “Therapeutic Citrus Winds.”

Last but not least, your other friend does nothing all day but sit in the hotel room and watch the waves pass. He takes 3 showers in a matter of hours due to excessive boredom. And every time he takes a shower, he uses the same body cleanser called “Hotel Room Essence.”
Okay so maybe its not that realistic, but you know what I mean. Well, I hope you don’t. Because I don’t quite no what I mean. This is rambling at it’s greatest. It’s just supposed to make you laugh. Read the “Inspiration” column or “Lifestyle Design” column if you want something that makes sense. This new category, Hypothetical Situations, otherwise known as Hyp-Sits are just thoughts put on paper in their raw form. Hopefully they make you laugh. If they don’t, go back to picking your nose in the corner of your room. Thanks. Much love.
